Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $33,092 spent. The HeartSpace Collective Wellness Retreat is a holistic multi-day retreat for women veterans held at a rented facility. Our signature retreats, grounded in the Whole Health model championed by the VA, foster self-care across mind, body, and spirit, and build community to support women veterans as they move from military to civilian life or step into caregiving roles. Our focus is to empower women veterans to not only survive but thrive during life's pivotal transitions. In 2025, we executed two retreats with 16 women veterans in the first and 14 women veterans in the second (including the peer facilitators).
  2. $1,806 spent. The HeartSpace Collective partnered and volunteered with other nonprofit and veterans support groups throughout the year. Activities included facilitating a wellness session for 23 attendees, sharing information at resource fairs, and connecting with military families.
  3. $400 spent. The HeartSpace Circle is a monthly virtual gathering designed to bring a touch of retreat into your day. The focus of the virtual circle is to explore an aspect of whole health, pause for mindful reflection, and share in community. This program was created to provide another outlet for women veterans to connect, especially those that could not travel to a retreat or other in-person events. The monthly series kicked off towards the end of 2025 and two circles were held with about 4-8 women veteran participants each.
