Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Programs described in its return (4)
- $9,400 spent. Classical Guitar Concerts: In 2015, the Society presented 7 classical guitar concerts with locally and internationally known artists. These events provided performance opportunities for emerging and established artists, and expanded access to live classical guitar music for diverse audiences in Brooklyn, NY.
- $2,625 spent. LuthierCon: LuthierCon is a daylong educational event that brings together classical guitar makers, performers, and community members. The program includes instrument demonstrations, presentations, and opportunities for participants to learn about guitar construction, materials, and craftsmanship, fostering public education and appreciation for the instrument. This was the Society's second LuthierCon. The event attracted more than 60 participants from around the country, representing a nearly 50% increase compared to the 2024 event.
- $1,170 spent. Monthly Open Mics: The Society hosts monthly open mics that provide accessible performance opportunities for classical guitarists of all ages and skill levels. These events encourage skill development, peer learning, and community building, creating a supportive environment for musicians to gain experience and connect with others. The events are free for performers and attendees. Each event typically features 10-12 performers and draws a total attendance of 20-25 people. The open mic series is the primary vehicle through which the Society reaches new guitarists and builds its membership.
- $500 spent. Other Program Services: Other program services include masterclasses, workshops, and community-building events.
