Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $294,610 spent. Narrative Building- By commissioning opinion polling; delivering speeches and participating on panels at conferences; drafting and publishing op-eds from frontline employee owners and company founders; and conducting media outreach, we worked to increase awareness of broad-based employee ownership and the need to expand ESOPs to build worker wealth and stronger companies.
  2. $89,839 spent. Coalition Building- We built a coalition of organizations united by the mission to dramatically expand employee ownership. For the first time, a broad cross section of the employee ownership community is coming together not just to service or protect employee ownership in its existing form, but to bring its benefits to more workers and companies across the country. We've grown to nearly 100 organizations, including financial institutions, ESOP service providers, law firms, foundations, advocacy groups and more.
  3. $87,500 spent. Policy Development- Via engagement with our coalition members, a listening tour of large companies and more, we've begun work to develop a comprehensive policy proposal that would unlock ESOP activity at large companies across the country and economy. We started by identifying the roadblocks preventing large companies from adopting ESOPs and then working through various ideas to overcome those hurdles via modernizing the 50+ year-old ESOP law
