Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH COMMUNITY BANK & TRUST, OUR ORGANIZATION HAS SUCCESSFULLY EXPANDED ACCESS TO FINANCIAL EDUCATION AND COUNSELING FOR IMMIGRANT AND REFUGEE COMMUNITIES. THROUGH INDIVIDUALIZED COUNSELING SESSIONS AND GROUP WORKSHOPS, PARTICIPANTS HAVE GAINED PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE IN BUDGETING, CREDIT BUILDING, AND NAVIGATING THE U.S. BANKING SYSTEM. AS A RESULT OF THESE EFFORTS, COMMUNITY MEMBERS HAVE INCREASED THEIR FINANCIAL CONFIDENCE, OPENED BANK ACCOUNTS, AND TAKEN MEASURABLE STEPS TOWARD FINANCIAL STABILITY AND LONG-TERM ECONOMIC INDEPENDENCE.
  2. OUR IMMIGRATION EDUCATION WORKSHOPS HAVE PROVIDED CRITICAL, ACCURATE INFORMATION TO IMMIGRANT AND REFUGEE POPULATIONS REGARDING ELIGIBILITY FOR NATURALIZATION AND OTHER IMMIGRATION PATHWAYS. THESE WORKSHOPS HAVE EQUIPPED PARTICIPANTS WITH A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF THE REQUIREMENTS ESTABLISHED BY U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION SERVICES, INCLUDING RESIDENCY, DOCUMENTATION, AND APPLICATION PROCEDURES. AS A RESULT, PARTICIPANTS ARE BETTER PREPARED TO ASSESS THEIR ELIGIBILITY, AVOID COMMON APPLICATION ERRORS, AND PROTECT THEMSELVES FROM MISINFORMATION AND IMMIGRATION-RELATED SCAMS.
  3. OUR ORGANIZATION HAS HOSTED CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION EVENTS THAT PROVIDE DIRECT, HANDS-ON SUPPORT TO ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH TABLE CHURCH, WE HAVE FACILITATED ON-SITE COMPLETION AND SUBMISSION OF NATURALIZATION APPLICATIONS WITH LEGAL OVERSIGHT. THESE EVENTS HAVE SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED BARRIERS TO ACCESS BY OFFERING ASSISTANCE WITH DOCUMENTATION, FEE WAIVER AND REDUCTION FORMS, AND APPLICATION REVIEW. AS A RESULT, QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY APPLY FOR CITIZENSHIP, ADVANCING THEIR CIVIC PARTICIPATION AND LONG-TERM STABILITY IN THE UNITED STATES.
