Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $875 spent. The Congress of Christian Leadership (CCL) is developing a Digital Resource Library, a centralized online platform providing members with tools and resources to support effective church administration and management. The library is designed to assist pastors, church administrators, and ministry leaders in managing the operational, financial, legal, and organizational responsibilities of their congregations. Resources available through the library include financial management templates and budgeting tools, human resources and volunteer management guides, legal and nonprofit compliance resources, strategic planning tools, communications and technology guidance, facilities and operations management materials, and ministry programming support. All resources are curated specifically for faith-based and religious nonprofit organizations. The library will also include a Grant Database, a searchable tool providing members with access to federal, state, and local grant opportunities available to churches and faith-based nonprofits. The database will include grant eligibility requirements, funding amounts, application deadlines, and grant writing resources to assist member organizations in successfully pursuing funding opportunities. The primary beneficiaries of this program are member churches and faith-based organizations, particularly those with limited administrative capacity seeking to strengthen their internal operations and expand their community impact.
