Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (1)
- $18,532 spent. Metastatic Breast Cancer is considered incurable, and "survivorship" programs often leave Stage 4 thrivers feeling left out. Of the offerings that exist, none prioritize the platonic relationships that provide critical support to this population. Temple of Kinship has stepped into that gap. Research shows that we heal better when sustained by powerful, positive relationships. In other words, we heal in community. We thrive together. In 2025, we hosted our second five-day retreat in Bayfield, Wisconsin for twelve participants. Our retreat was designed to animate our founding aspirations: kinship with community, kinship with nature, kinship with one's own body, and kinship with spirit. The results have reinforced our commitment and drive to serve. Temple of Kinship worked with a researcher to conduct pre and post retreat surveys and participant interviews to evaluate the impact of our first offering. The largest improvements were observed in being able to process fears and hopes, access to resources to support friendships, access to a supportive community, and skills to use writing and artmaking to process emotions. We also hosted our first one-day retreat in Milwaukee, serving another 16 participants.
