Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

  1. $88,697 spent. 2024 was a year focused on building partnerships and taking new innovative approaches to our operations and program delivery. We continued delivering our virtual programming in the form of informational webinars but focused more on delivering in-person engagement opportunities to connect better with Glendale residents and employees. This allowed us to provide guidance and resources on a 1:1 basis to support property managers and employers to promote new services and programs and encourage sustainable travel behaviors. We kicked-o o our in-person events in April with Earth Day. We participated at the City of Glendales Earth Day Fair at Verdugo Park where we launched our Golden Bike promotion highlighting cycling as a travel option across. The bike was featured at our Bike to Work Day pitstop and on social media. We hosted Bike-to-Work day pitstops in May, in collaboration with Walk Bike Glendale and the City of Glendale. We also hosted a Bike Safety 101 class at Pacific Community Center & Park, led by a League-certified trainer. One of our biggest wins this year was a grant that we received from the City to promote the Citys Climate Action & Adaption Plan. We used the grant money to organize an Urban Art Walk that highlighted the commonalities and intersection between public art and transportation in Glendale. We held an All-Commuters Meeting webinar in August to provide our members and wider community with the latest updates on transportation projects and service updates such as the Bicycle Transportation Plan, Metrolinks new schedule changes, etc. For our 2024 Go Glendale Commuter Survey, we tabled at 5 dierent properties to promote the survey and assist individuals with travel planning. We continued our partnership with Metrolink to distribute free-round trip tickets to employees, residents, and students of Go Glendale member properties. We also distributed several bike lights and bike repair kits throughout the year to get Glendale commuters to support biking to work and for recreation. Our partnership with Commutifi for the 2024 survey provided residents and employees of Go Glendale member properties the opportunity to better understand their carbon footprint and costs related to commuting. We continued to increase our digital engagement through our monthly transportation e-newsletter, Go Glendale branded social media posts, and seven new blog articles, including posts on the AQMD Rule 2022 changes & Metrolink round-trip ticket campaign.
