  1. $1.7 million spent. In 2024, the Boys & Girls Club of Palm Springs continued to provide a safe and supportive space for youth after school and during summer. Programs focused on academic support, healthy lifestyles, and leadership development. Youth participated in daily tutoring, STEM and art activities, and college and career readiness programs including Career Launch and Diplomas 2 Degrees. Summer Brain Gain helped members stay on track academically, and field trips included visits to museums, libraries, and universities. Physical wellness was promoted through Triple Play gym activities, aquatics, cooking classes, yoga, dance, and cannabis prevention education through SMART Moves and SMART Talk. Members also took part in pickleball, golf, skateboarding, and the Michael Phelps IM Healthy Swim Program. Leadership and character-building were emphasized through Culture Club, Paths to Adulthood, Keystone and Torch Clubs, and community service projects. Members volunteered across age groups and were recognized through events like the Do the Right Thing Award Ceremony. The Club hosted over 20 field trips, provided free daily meals, and partnered with local agencies including the Palm Springs Fire Department, Palm Springs Pathfinders, and PSUSD. The Health & Wellness Center expanded its role as a hub for fitness, education, and youth engagement.
