FOUNDED BY MARY LOWTHER RANNEY IN 1913 -- IN THE BACKDROP OF THE SUFFRAGIST MOVEMENT TO GIVE GIRLS ACCESS TO THE RIGORS OF EDUCATION THEIR BROTHERS WERE GETTING, WESTRIDGE'S MOTTO IS SURGERE TENTAMUS (WE STRIVE TO RISE); THIS FORWARD-THINKING MISSION CONTINUES TO DRIVE OUR WORK TODAY AS A SCHOOL OF 550 STUDENTS FROM GRADES 4-12.
