What it says it does
The mission of the San Francisco Motorcycle Club (SFMC) is to promote the safe and proper use of motorcycles on public and private roads. The organization supports this mission through public outreach, participation in community and nonprofit programs, and by fostering a welcoming environment for all motorcyclists. SFMC also works to build positive relationships between motorcyclists and the broader community. Additionally, the club preserves and maintains a collection of historic motorcycle-related memorabilia, journals, artifacts, and other materials housed at its clubhouse.

Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

- $33,563 spent. In 2025 the San Francisco Motorcycle Club (SFMC) organized 16 official motorcycle rides, and several social events open to the public. These activities are designed to promote motorcycle safety, encourage the use of proper protective gear, and support courteous and responsible riding behavior. SFMC's events also aim to build community engagement and provide educational opportunities for both members and the public.Key activities during the year included: Scheduled rides including destinations such as Mt. Tam, Pescadero, Pinnacles, Capital City, and Mines Road, Jenner, Pasadena, Sonoma, and the Sierras. These rides were well attended by members and nonmembers and promoted safe riding in groups. Dinner rides to visit sister-clubs such as Oakland Motorcycle Club and San Jose Dons. Support for AMA District 36 through participation in calendar events and hosting rides. Hosted a weekend camping excursion that included three clubs: Pasadena, San Jose, and San Francisco Motorcycle Club. Casual rider training sessions were scheduled by a member to enhance riding skills through safe exercises in controlled closed environments like empty parking lots and fields. These events were open to the membership as well as the public. Members volunteer as monitors for bay area marathons to ensure runners safe passage through busy intersections. Our participation is not only supporting these important social events for the bay area cities, but also promotes public awareness of our club's history, engagement and purpose. In 2025 we volunteered for Oakland, Berkeley, Bay to Breakers, and San Francisco Marathon. Fellowship dinners were hosted at the Clubhouse on the first Thursday of each month before the regularly scheduled business meetings. Weekly board and business meetings were held every Thursday evening, except on 2 major holidays in 2025. Business meetings are open to the public. These activities align with SFMCs mission to promote motorcycle safety, foster community, and preserve motorcycling history.
