Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $40,202 spent. Scientific Research & Development. Conducted research on VR-based social skills training and group therapeutic technologies. Developed experimental protocols and VR applications for Meta Quest devices including AI-powered platforms combining immersive experiences with peer-to-peer connection. Prepared research protocols for IRB approval and collaborated with academic institutions. We participated in the MEXA Wellcome Trust Accelerator program for Generative AI in Mental Health advancing our understanding of how generative AI can be used to facilitate group-based therapeutic interactions. We received $29,000 in funding from MEXA for this work and we wrote a larger grant application to the Wellcome Trust. We designed a social skills training program for individuals with Social Anxiety Disorder. This work advances understanding of how digital therapeutics and virtual reality can be applied to mental health needs.
  2. $26,262 spent. Program Delivery and Improvement. We delivered our numadelic group VR digital therapeutics programs and demos to dozens of people around the world. The delivery of these facilitated group experiences took place either in a co-located environment where each participant was in the same room or in a remote setup where participants joined from wherever in the world they may be. Our expert facilitators guided participants through these experiences promoting a sense of connection to the self others and the something greater than the self. Providing these experiences helped educate the public about the benefits of digital therapeutic VR and also potentially provided direct benefits to those experiencing the programs. We also worked to improve the experiences based on research and user feedback. We delivered experiences focused on reducing death anxiety and reducing anxiety overall while promoting feelings of connectedness.
  3. $1,642 spent. Advocacy & Outreach. Promoted awareness of numadelic digital therapeutics and VR-based approaches to mental health through presentations writing academic articles and attendance at conferences including Psychedelic Science 2025. Educated potential funders and the broader community about the organizations mission and research. Updated our website developed presentations and documents to describe our approach and educate potential collaborators funders and research participants.
