Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $146,131 spent. Washed in the Word exists to edify Christians and strengthen churches by providing free Bible teaching and Bible study resources. Our goal is to foster Biblical maturation through Biblical saturation in churches and individuals. During 2025, our inaugural year of programming, we carried out our primary exempt purpose through both online and in-person Bible teaching. Each week we release a new expository Bible teaching, which is distributed via washedintheword.life and on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other social platforms. In 2025, we released 52 unique teachings with supporting study resources, comprehensively teaching through the Biblical books of Joshua, James, Judges, and 2 Timothy. Our weekly audience was composed primarily of individuals and small groups, who gathered to watch and listen to Washed in the Word teaching and engage in discussion guided by our study resources. The online ministry reached a growing, geographically diverse audience, as evidenced by active listeners and viewers in 46 different countries by year-end. In addition to weekly online ministry, our Executive Director and Lead Teacher taught in person 49 times across the United States and in Sub-Saharan Africa. Live teaching engagements included local church ministry (sermons, sermon series, and multi-week small group Bible studies), academic ministry (teaching apologetics to missionary candidates and others training for Christian ministry), and missions (speaking in support of global missions). All instruction and resources, whether delivered online or in-person, were provided at no cost to the recipients, supported by our administrative and production infrastructure.
