Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $951 spent. Awareness programs run through Facebook and other social media campaigns to provide visibility to accurate misophonia information. These advocacy campaigns included links to free resources and booklets which may not have been found without these marketing campaigns. We have had over 100 downloads of these free resources.
  2. $1,278 spent. Research materials for our goal of conducting misophonia research. We have had over 100 respondents for our first academic study and have collected a team of volunteers to help us start an academic journal. We have also begun a study via machine learning to see the acoustic properties of misophonia triggers. We are also testing items for our community to see if they are sensory friendly.
  3. $1,577 spent. We have been providing research interviews, presentations, and video content on multiple websites such as Youtube, Facebook, Tik Tok, etc. We offer information directly from the professionals researching and treating misophonia to help educate the public. Computer software and physical video equipment were necessary for this goal. We have had over 100 people sign up for these free events and attend. We also offer these videos long-term for free.
