- In 2024 we hosted ten in-person and virtual health workshops on topics such as menstrual health fertility body image and mental well-being reaching over five hundred participants. We hosted 4 guest instructors from renowned UT Southwestern medical center as well as taught from our resident instructors Dr. Sarah Hemeida and Alimah Sarah Ahmed. We provided safe circles for critical community conversations regarding divorce intimate partner violence and how trauma is experienced inside the body. Over the year Empowher Health has become a recognized resource for Muslim women.
- Our podcast She Should Know expanded dramatically growing to over 19,000 listeners across 90+ countries amplifying culturally grounded spiritually aligned conversations about womens health and lived experience.
- Empowher Health was nominated for a community grant by 200 Muslim Women Who Care a recognition that affirmed the organizations local impact and growing community trust.
