Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (5)
  1. $29,060 spent. In December 2025, a group of 22 traveled to Baja California, Mexico - to Uruapan and the Mount of Olives Childrens village run by Missions Network International. While there we worked with the 25 orphans that live onsite as well as members of the surrounding community. We hosted a Christmas and New Years celebration with the children as well as the families of those that work and Mount of Olives. We have approximatlely 75 people all together that night. We also spent time working on building projects at the mission including painting, drywalling, networking, weeding, and planting. We spent a morning distributing clothes and supplies to migrant farm workers that live in the area as well - approximately 60 people total.
  2. $2,655 spent. In February and October, groups of 15 traveled to Inner City Mission in Springfield, IL. Over the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we spent at ICM, we worked with approximately 20 of the residents. We provided meals for the residents of the mission while we were there. We also worked on projects around the mission including organizing the food pantry, and washing windows on multiple buildings. We finished the trip on Sunday morning by attending a local church with one of the former residents.
  3. $269 spent. We hosted two community service days in 2025 - the first in May and the second in November. During the two days we were able to serve a number of individuals and organizations in our local communities. We worked with approximately 10 different individuals with yard cleaning and removing structures or refuse on their property. We worked with Shults-Lewis, a residential facility for children with traumatic history in painting murals and assembling furniture as well as sorting clothes for their upcoming sale. We visited with residents at Two Hearts - a nursing home in Lowell, IN - where we played Bingo and spent time with the folks there. Overall we love doing community days as they are a great way to grow stronger communities with little cost.
  4. $6,470 spent. In June of 2025 a group of 17 went to Wheelwright, Kentucky, to serve with Big Creek Missions. While there we worked with the local community on food distribution, construction projects, child care, and community outreach. The group visited with members of the local Wheelwright community as well as other groups service at the mission.
  5. $29,624 spent. In July of 2025, SELAH took a trip to Romania to work with Ukrainian refugee orphans and families. We hosted a camp for 50 Ukrainian orphans and displaced children.
