Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (1)
- $35,339 spent. We hold an annual event in Central Oregon east of Prineville, OR. This event provides an opportunity for amateur astronomers to gather in a dark site location. With increasing amounts of light pollution, it is becoming more difficult to see the night sky. Most metropolitan areas have so much light pollution that this type of observing is not available. There are daytime activities such as speakers, telescope walkabout, youth activities, as well as the main activity of observing through some type of astronomical instrument. We operate under a US Forest Service permit on totally unimproved lands. We bring in 100% of all facilities such as our activities tent, registration tent, and portable toilets. This year had 301 registration from all over the Pacific NW as well as the rest of the country.
