  2. GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS - AANP IS THE LEADING ORGANIZATIONAL ADVOCATE FOR NATUROPATHIC HEALTHCARE SERVICES AND NATUROPATHIC PHYSICIANS. AANP SEEKS TO IMPLEMENT POLICIES THAT ADVANCE THE PROFESSION OF NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE AND PROVIDE PATIENTS WITH ACCESS TO NATUROPATHIC PHYSICIANS. IN ADDITION, AANP ENGAGES IN FEDERAL LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITIES, STATE LICENSING EFFORTS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS CAMPAIGNS TO EDUCATE CONSUMERS ABOUT NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE.
