What it says it does
Downshift Ridaz is an organization built upon motorcycle enthusiasts with an interest in giving back to families and children less fortunate. This includes raising donations from members and the public and holding annual events such as free Easter egg hunts and games, back to school supply drives and Christmas toy drives. Downshift Ridaz Inc does not pay any members or organizational board members any monetary or itemized payments. All money raised through the organization by it's membership goes directly towards the purchase of items to donate to families in need at our annual events as well as supporting children suffering from serious illnesses and bullying throughout the year.

Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (3)
- $1,894 spent. Our yearly Easter event hosts hundreds of families and children with the event growing every year. 2024 saw an Easter egg hunt with over 18,000 eggs for children as well as food, games and activities. This event hosts local vendors with homemade goods, the proceeds from these vendor fees are all donated to a local charity, the Santa Fe Braves Youth Football Association. This donation helps fund the facilities and equipment for local children involved in this football organization. Moving forward we look forward to continuing to grow this event even larger.
- $1,883 spent. Our yearly back to school supply drive is another large event where Downshift Ridaz Inc raises donations from members and the public with the goal of both sponsoring specific families and the general public in need. This year we were able to sponsor multiple families and fill almost 100 backpacks complete with school supplies and directly handed out these items ourself to the children who needed them. Moving forward we look to increase the amount of donations raised so we can sponsor more families and fill even more backpacks.
- $1,621 spent. Downshift Ridaz Inc also hosts an annual Christmas Toy drive where we raise donations both in money and toys from member and the general public. These items are then donated directly to families and children in need. In 2023 we handed these toys out directly to families and children. This year we were able to supply dozens of families with toys, bicycles and electronics ranging in ages from infants to teenagers. Moving forward we look forward to raise even more donations for toys for children in need and possibly sponsoring families.
