Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $9,500 spent. During 2025 Just One Wave provided financial assistance to offset mental health treatment costs for underprivileged patients. Patients applied for support and documented financial need including confirmation from a mental health professional or proof of eligibility for public assistance. Just One Wave identified an appropriate partner clinic near each patient connected the patient with the clinic for clinical evaluation and once the clinic determined that treatment was medically appropriate negotiated reduced treatment rates. The organization then paid the partner clinic directly to partially or fully cover the cost of treatment based on the patients ability to pay. In 2025 Just One Wave paid $9,500 in program service expenses to partner clinics supporting treatment for three individuals including at least one child and two veterans.
