What it says it does

Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (4)
  1. $54,542 spent. We established a community hub that was used to host meetings, community events, and educational programs. This allowed us to support numerous local organizations by providing them with facilities and equipment. In total, we hosted and supported over 40 community meetings and events that achieved our goal of providing education and empowering the community.
  2. $16,040 spent. We helped support and organize at least 15 community mobilizations on issues related to immigration and war and peace. These demonstrations ranged from 50 to thousands of attendees. We provided audio and visual equipment, logistical and planning support, volunteering help, artistic skills, and promotional support such as distributing flyers for these events.
  3. $14,557 spent. We made major investments into leadership development for members of the community by funding their travel to trainings. We also procured the services of an independent contractor, whose role was to focus on developing the skills of these individuals.
  4. We distributed funds to support organizing for efforts such as enhancing local food security and advocating for issues on war and peace.
