What it says it does
Provide peer to peer grief support to kids and families who have lost a loved one. Through activities such as art, gardening, cooking/baking, sports, and games, we help kids and families navigate through their grief journey. Provide a safe environment where they can share and express how they feel will out any judgment. We provide coping skills to participants to be able to handle those moments that may overwhelm them. In addition, we provide dinner to families during the night of support to aliviate one other thing they need to worry about when they attend Night of Support. We also provide care packages to kids and families who are unable to attend our Night of Support. In the packages we provide grief activities, grief journal, and grief resources to the parents/caregivers. Furthermore, we hold external activities outside of our Night of Support for parents/caregivers, such as meditation sessions, paint nights, sound baths, and flower bouquet building.

Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

We have families that have came once and return when they can but 9 families attend on a regular basis. From the time the participants attend their first Night of Support to the third session, we can tell the difference in how they share and express themselves in speaking about their loved one they lost. In addition, we have provided over 10 care packages to several kids and families who are unable to attend, this allow us to reach other kids by providing grief activities, grief journals and resources for the parent/caregivers to have tools to be able to hold that discussion of grief with their child. We have tabled at several farmer markets, health fairs and been asked to sit on panels to discuss about the grief support we provide, health walks/runs. Each event brings 100-300 people. We have collaborated with other foundations that have placed our name/website on their web page or brochures so families have an option to reach out to us. We have been interviewed on the radio (107.9) and interviewed by our local tv stations to share what we want to bring to the community. Through these outlets we have numerous families reach out to us. We have had 5 local business donated $500 or more and we have 7 reoccuring donors of $25-$100. And additional donors from the OUR PROMISE campaign that deducts from the donors paycheck monthly. Provide peer to peer grief support to kids and families who have lost a loved one.
