Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. At Citizens Outreach Foundation, we are dedicated to offering a lifeline to those facing hardships on the streets. Our diverse range of programs is tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual we serve. From providing essentials like food, clothing, and toiletries, to more substantial support such as rental assistance and job re-entry tools like laptops and phones, we are committed to helping people rebuild their lives. Our efforts include nourishing those who are working but struggling, offering transportation solutions, and providing emergency shelter and detox assistance. Special initiatives like 'Reset' cater to the elderly, offering temporary hotel stays and essentials, while our 'Rescue' program focuses on harm reduction for I.V. drug users. Each program is designed with the goal of guiding individuals from crisis to stability, empowering them to lead productive and fulfilling lives
  2. Our "Reset" program provides new clothes, food, toiletries and 2 nights in a hotel. We offer this to elderly people living on our streets who do not yet qualify for permanent housing and rental assistance. Robert is currently in desperate need of a hip replacement, and is suffering with high blood pressure and asthma. Can you imagine what it would be like dealing with all of that when you're 63 and have no place to live? When Robert sat down on that bed, it was the first time I had ever really seen him smile. No one deserves this "reset"more than him. Please help us extend his stay and consider donating. Every dollar goes to the people we are helping.
  3. This program provides a quick simple solution to get into treatment. With one phone call to TCOF, we will set up the bed in the detox, provide clean clothes, toiletries and a ride to the facility. We will then set up aftercare in a long term program if needed and agreed upon.
