Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $62,594 spent. We rescued and vetted 221 adult cats and kittens in 2025 (our third year in operation). This included vetting and foster-based care. Vetting we provide prior to adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip and deworming at a minimum. Many of the cats we intake are sick, injured, or have medical complications requiring further and more intensive veterinary care.
  2. $380 spent. We completed 283 adoptions (62 adults, 1 year and older, and 222 kittens) in 2024. There are very few costs associated with the adoption process itself unless it is at an event. Most of our adoptions are completed in foster homes using online processing.
  3. $717 spent. Community outreach includes providing cat food to individuals in need, providing information on wellness (which we do through our social media pages/posts), providing TNR (trap, neuter, release) for selected feral mothers whom we deem not adoptable (with appropriate colony caretaker) and helping people find low-cost spay & neuter & veterinary services.
