Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (6)
  1. $451,217 spent. The agency now employs 40 therapists - a combination of clinical supervisors (5), associate-level therapists (15), and trainees enrolled in schools (20)
  2. The center was able to expand from partnerships with one school to six schools. This allows the agency to help diversify the therapists and create paid training opportunities for future therapists
  3. $2,550 spent. Began offering professional development and paid training for therapists
  4. The center was able to expand its programs to include a CASOMB-certified Sex Offenders program as well as a probation-approved partnering skills program. The agency has been able to support individuals in the legal system to help reduce recidivism in the SO clients and reduce maladaptive parenting to help educate and process the emotions associated with parenting and raising a family
  5. The agency was able to complete 960 low-cost or pro bono sessions to individuals seeking low-cost or reduced-rate psychotherapeutic services
  6. $3,500 spent. Added an additional in-person office space, expanding our office locations to a third office in Torrance - meaning we now have three office spaces in Torrance and two in Pasadena. The new additional office space is focused on children and it created a play therapy space with age-appropriate space for children 3 to 17
