Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Programs described in its return (3)
- First goal: Support and promote the preservation of our Scandinavian heritage by providing information to the public and members through our website; publishing a bi-monthly newsletter communicating to our 1700+ members, the monthly activities of all lodges; compiling books on traditional Scandinavian folk music and recipes; and imparting knowledge and information at various Scandinavian festivals across the country.
- Second Goal: Scholarships. The Grand Lodge Daughters of Norway offers scholarships to full-time college, university, technical or vocational students who are either a member of or related to a member of the Daughters of Norway. Five scholarships were awarded in the current fiscal year.
- Third goal. Support system: Semi-annually, Grand Lodge meetings are hosted by lodges across the country to conduct business and promote the dissemination of information to and from the local lodges. Bi-annually a national convention is hosted by one or more lodges to conduct business, elect officers, and provide cultural and education programs relating to our Scandinavian heritage.
