Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

- $125,534 spent. Sound Action tenaciously protects and defends nearshore habitats in Puget Sound through its work as a well-respected watchdog organization. We review all Puget Sound-based nearshore development permits issued by the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife WDFW. Taking legal action when WDFW-issued permits allow habitat loss or violate state law. Our work results in both short- and long-term habitat protection and ensures that critical environmental protection laws are strictly enforced.
