Programs described in its return (1)
  1. $164,672 spent. The Cranberry Museum continues to provide educational information to the public about cranberry farming and practices. Due to proceeds from the gift shop, the museum remains free to the public. The museum has become a major draw for tourists. The demostration farm's walking trail is open all year with visiting hours extended to dusk daily.Several educational programs were held for the public including Master Gardner's workshops on landscaping, a nutrition scientist presented the value of cranberries on health, and a two-day harvest experience was open to the public. Community groups used the facilities for free or by optional donation. Publice education classes, training opportunities, community meetings, and tours for school children all relate to our mission and the public is happy to have this venue in the community. Bus tours from several cruise ships visited the museum and took a walk through the farm and have schedule again for next year.
