  1. $600,946 spent. K.A.T. CONTINUES TO ADVANCE ITS LONG STANDING COMMITMENT TO SERVING INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES. OUR PROGRAMS REMAIN ROOTED IN DIGNITY, INCLUSION, AND MEANINGFUL OPPORTUNITY FOR EVERY PARTICIPANT. IN RECENT YEARS, WE HAVE SIGNIFICANTLY EXPANDED OUR RESPITE SERVICES, ADDING A WIDER RANGE OF PARTICIPANT CENTERED ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO PROMOTE ENGAGEMENT, INDEPENDENCE, AND COMMUNITY CONNECTION. THESE ENHANCEMENTS POSITION US FOR CONTINUED PROGRAM GROWTH BOTH IN THE NUMBER OF INDIVIDUALS WE CAN SERVE AND IN THE DEPTH AND QUALITY OF SUPPORT WE PROVIDE. OUR DAYTIME ACTIVITY CENTER REMAINS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC ON A PARTICIPANT PAY BASIS AND CURRENTLY OPERATES TWO DAYS PER WEEK. VOCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES CONTINUE TO BE AVAILABLE TO DISABLED VETERANS AND ADULTS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES, OFFERING STRUCTURED PATHWAYS TO BUILD CORE EMPLOYMENT SKILLS AND INCREASE LONG TERM EMPLOYABILITY. TO PREPARE THE ORGANIZATION FOR FUTURE EXPANSION AND NEW PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT ACROSS EMERGING SECTORS OF THE ECONOMY, WE UNDERTOOK A STRATEGIC DOWNSIZING OF OPERATIONS. THIS INCLUDED THE SALE OF OUR EXISTING BUILDING TO ALLOW US TO RELOCATE INTO A MORE EFFICIENT, PURPOSE DESIGNED, AND MARKET READY SPACE THAT BETTER SUPPORTS OUR EVOLVING SERVICE MODEL. AS A RESULT OF THESE EFFORTS, OUR FINANCIAL POSITION HAS STRENGTHENED, OUR DEBT LOAD HAS BEEN REDUCED, AND WE ARE BETTER EQUIPPED TO PURSUE INNOVATIVE OPPORTUNITIES THAT FURTHER OUR MISSION.
