- $1,450 spent. Support of community and youth services to more than 20 public service organizations in the Ellensburg Kittitas County area of Washington State.
- In conjunction with the clubs dedication supporting the youth of the area, it sponsors the Kiwanis Fishing Derby for the children of Kittitas County. Fish that have been grown in a private lake by members of the club, are released just prior to the event, into Wilson Creek which runs through the city of Ellensburg. All of the youth of Kittitas County are invited to fish the creek. Refreshments and prizes are provided to the participants. An estimated 150 children participated in the event.
- $881 spent. Youth Fishing Derby. Approximately 40 children in attendance, at an annual fishing opportunity after lake has been planted.
- $240 spent. Sponsoring Dance Event for the mentally challenged in the community. Approximately 40 individuals attend.
