THROUGH WSHA'S AWARD-WINNING PATIENT SAFETY PROGRAM, HOSPITALS COOPERATE AND WORK TOGETHER TO SHARE BEST PRACTICES AND MEASURE IMPROVEMENTS IN AREAS AS DIVERSE AS MATERNAL AND INFANT HEALTH, DIAGNOSTIC EXCELLENCE, OPIOID STEWARDSHIP, AND WORKPLACE VIOLENCE. THIS PROGRAM HELPS TO ENSURE THE RIGHT CARE IS DELIVERED, AT THE RIGHT TIME, TO EVERY PATIENT, EVERY TIME. IN THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS, OUR PATIENT SAFETY WORK RESULTED IN TENS OF THOUSANDS OF PREVENTED PATIENT HARMS AND HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS SAVED. THE PROGRAM IS UNIQUELY POSITIONED TO WORK WITH ALL WSHA MEMBERS, FROM MULTI-STATE SYSTEMS TO CRITICAL ACCESS HOSPITALS.
