Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $17,603 spent. For our project "Support for displaced families in West Darfur / Chad," we raised $26,976.79 in cash, $627,385.83 in donations of clothes, shoes, blankets and household items. By the end of the year, we were preparing to depart Cotonou, Benin, where we had picked up our overseas shipment, for Arde, Chad. We left Cotonou in early January 2024 and began distributing the clothing, shoes, blankets to 30,000 displaced families there from March 18 through 26, 2024.
  2. For our "Urgent aid for El Geneina area West Darfur, we raised $313 in cash. But on April 15, 2023, war broke out in Sudan, resulting among other things in the massacre of the Masalit in El Geneina in April through June of 2023 (our board, membership, and our overseas team are all Masalit, even though our nonprofit serves any Darfuri civilians we can, regardless of tribe). Our El Geneina team had to flee El Geneina for their lives, arriving in Adre, Chad. Under these conditions, we were not able to continue providing aid in West Darfur.
  3. Our call a translator service provided assistance to sixteen callers in 2023
