Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence
Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.
Programs described in its return (3)
- $72,496 spent. Shady Pines Festival was our largest program service accomplishment of 2025 as measured by expense. The festival's objective was to bolster the local music culture by spotlighting excellent local artists, and provide a unique opportunity for the Shady Pines Radio community to gather in person and celebrate local music, art, and community radio. We measure this event's success in the amount of community involvement we saw. Of the 844 people in attendance, nearly three quarters were involved in the production of the festival as a volunteer, performer, vendor, or staff member.
- $7,759 spent. Shady Pines Open Mic is an ongoing event that our organization hosts to help bolster exposure for underrepresented and undiscovered talent in our area. During 2025, we hosted 18 open mics, drawing approximately 30 performers and over 100 audience members per event.
- $40,514 spent. Shady Pines Radio is a 24/7 online community radio station based out of Portland, and is our flagship program service. The objective of this program service is to teach community members about the art of broadcast and show curation, and to provide a platform for local and underrepresented talent. In 2025, we had nearly 100 volunteer DJs hosting an eclectic array of shows from home, with between 7,000 and 9,000 unique listeners per month.
