Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Programs described in its return (1)
  1. The foundation was approved in December of 2022 and Maitreyi made a donation of $100,000 into the foundation. At the beginning of 2023, the foundation made payments to five women studying at the Asian University for Women in Bangladesh to the amount of $25,000. This amount covered tuition fees and personal expenses. The money was transferred to the university, which took payment for the fees and provided the women being sponsored the balance.
