Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. Orange Heart Medal Distribution: Our organizations main objective is to award a unique medal to Vietnam veterans with a service-connected disability rating from the Department of Veterans Affairs resulting from Agent Orange exposure. This medal acknowledges their sacrifice for the nation. It is given to the Veteran or their surviving spouse at no cost. In 2025 we distributed over 2000 medals to eligible Veterans bringing our total to over 16000 to date.
  2. The Foundations primary goal is to raise awareness and advocate for recognizing dioxin and Agent Orange as chemical warfare agents. This involves educational initiatives and collaborating with legislators to pass laws acknowledging the impact of these toxic substances. Presently twenty states recognize Agent Orange as chemical warfare. By obtaining recognition for Agent Orange victims from the Vietnam War the Foundation assists affected veterans in accessing healthcare and disability benefits. The ultimate objective is to honor Vietnam Veterans and their families ensuring that their sacrifices are remembered and appreciated by future generations.
  3. Orange Heart Medal Memorial: The Foundation has created an Orange Heart Medal Memorial in Springfield Tennessee to honor Vietnam Veterans impacted by Agent Orange exposure. Their names service branches and states of residence are permanently inscribed on the memorial. This initiative was inherited from a previous organization and is overseen by Springfield Memorial Gardens. Future expansions to the memorial are anticipated by the Foundation.
