Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (4)
  1. $235,418 spent. Compensation expense for individuals connected with carrying out the mission of providing weekly camps and retreats for homeless children.
  2. $131,887 spent. All other expenses including office expense and other to conducting camp activities.
  3. $56,167 spent. Rent and Utilities paid for the use of land and facilities to conduct youth camps and activities.
  4. Our story began long before anyone on our leadership team worked together. For some of us, it began with our individual, uniqure camp experiences in childhood. We remembered feeling Gods presence, making new friends, and feeling at peace in our home away from home. For others, it began with the opportunity to see our childresn thrive in that environment and benefit spiritually from those experiences. When our team first came together we discussed those experiences and arrived at one simple conclusion - EVERY kid should have a chance to experience a Christian summer camp regardless of their life circumstances or socioeconomic background. It was out of this conviction that Camp Lighthouse was birthed. In 2011, God blessed us with 143 acres of beautiful camp property in North Georgia.
