Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. $30,000 spent. We deliver Fresh Rescue foods from Las Vegas to Sandy Valley four to five times per month. All grocery stores are forty or more miles away from Sandy Valley Nevada which is a hardship for our population. We also distribute USDA TEFAP foods to our food insecure qualifying households twice per month. This grant pays for our operating expenses as detailed previously.
  2. $92,000 spent. We purchased a custom refrigerated van from the grant funds we received from the Nevada Department of Agriculture with which to pick up food from Las Vegas and transport it to Sandy Valley for distribution - four to five times each month twelve months per year.
