Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $450 spent. The Justice for Our Desert event is another educational event where we gather about 20 people to facilitate presentations and discussions about our mission to protect the environment and raise awareness about the impact of nuclear testing and provide information about how people can get involved to support our cause.
  2. $10,962 spent. We hosted a Sacred Peace Walk, which is a time for us to bring together our members in community and walk through the desert to learn more about the environmental impacts of nuclear testing, featuring about 40 people who participated in various aspects of the week of events.
  3. $440 spent. The MLK Day Parade is an event that allows us to educate more people about our mission, the impacts of nuclear testing, and the goal of encouraging peace and non-violence through actions, impacting about 75 people who participated.
