Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $29,392 spent. We provided medical care for 300 kittens and cats in 2024. The range of services provided is extensive. Depending on the needs of each individual cat here is a list of medical procedures administered with the goal of a completely healthy animal: all 3 core FVRCP vaccines rabies vaccine if age appropriate parasite treatment flea treatment dewormer nail trim Giardia test FeLV FIV test if age appropriate microchip with lifetime registration Panleukopenia test if clinical signs require. In addition we provided emergency medical care to injured cats. Some examples of that are eye enucleation and fixation of broken limbs.
  2. $19,421 spent. As part of our mission to eradicate the homeless kitten population in and around the greater Manteca area we place a huge focus on spaying and neutering all kittens and cats that come into our care. We are proud to report that our organization spayed and neutered 300 animals in 2024!
  3. $16,785 spent. Our ultimate goal is facilitating the adoption of the kittens and cats we care for. To that end we spend a great deal of money on housing feeding and nurturing them. We provide clean bedding litter boxes food and feeding supplies such as bottles nipples and syringes. In addition they are given nutritional supplements to stabilize their digestive system. Once the kittens and cats are healthy they are put up for adoption on our website. There are also adoption events and fairs. Carriers are provided with each adopted animal.
