Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $94,419 spent. Our theater programming offers a variety of FREE family-friendly performances to the community. The Magic Monster Show is a unique blend of improv comedy and puppetry guided by suggestions from children in the audience. RAS performed the Magic Monster Show for 1,550 attendees. In November, RAS produced its second annual Crankie Festival, engaging 7 artists in creating crankies and delighting more than 490 audience members with a form of storytelling that was new to most of them. All experiences were offered for free.
  2. $61,078 spent. The Cabinets of Curiosity at Story Mansion invited to visitors to immerse themselves in the curious collections of the mysterious Ravens Eye Society, a FICTIONAL club of collectors and explorers who traveled our world and beyond to gather the specimens contained in their magical cabinets of curiosity. The beautiful and interactive cabinets were created by REAL Montana artists and displayed throughout the historic Story Mansion. More than 7,550 visitors explored the cabinets over 3 weeks. 520 elementary and middle school students visited the installation and designed their own cabinets of curiosity. The installation was offered for free.
  3. $59,925 spent. The 5th annual Bumblewood Thicket Fairy Village was an enchanting public art installation containing 20 fairy homes and businesses created by Montana artists. Located in a city park, the village was free and open to the public. 30 volunteer docents put in 200 hours greeting more than 19,000 visitors over the course of three weeks at the end of summer. Approximately 500 visitors participated in the Build Your Own area by creating their own fairy houses. More than 6,000 visitors wrote letters to the fairies and 750 audience members attended the immersive magical fairy play! Both the fairy village and play were offered for free.
