Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

- In November 2024 the Board of Directors, Registered Agent and a contracted grant writer got the news that all of the work they had done for months to procure funds from the US EPA Climate Change Grant was for nothing. The purpose of the grant award would be to establish a Community Resource and Climate Resistant Hub for the people of Cibola County, NM. The EPA was being gutted and the EPA's funding was being slashed. The grant opportunity disappeared. This disheartening turn of events split the Board as to how to proceed without the funding needed to continue the direction PDL LHH had been taking as a Climate Hub and community center to serve the community in normal times and in times of floods, droughts and fires. Half of the decision makers wanted to dissolve the nonprofit in 2025. The other half of the decision makers wanted to continue through 2025, then decide. At an emergency Board of Directors meeting on 8.3.2026 the Board decided to pursue Corporation Dissolution after this Form 990 is filed and the final termination filing will be for tax year 2026. Suspension of Business was filed on 8.10.26 with the New Mexico Office of the Secretary of State. Target date for Dissolution is on or by 9.15.2026.
