Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $27,712 spent. Tournament registration fees are our main program expense is registration fees to enter all teams into basketball tournaments throughout the season. This benefits 15-20 teams and 200 players to have fun competition to test & improve their skills.
  2. $7,059 spent. Promotional expenses support all participating basketball players by fostering motivation, engagement, and team spirit. The primary promotional expense is the summer skills incentive program, where players earn rewards-such as basketballs, t-shirts, and shorts-by logging their basketball practice hours throughout the summer. Additional promotional activities include end-of-season team celebrations, ice cream treats after games, and other team-building incentives designed to strengthen camaraderie and encourage continued participation.
  3. $1,155 spent. New Prague Tournament Expenses are normally our 2nd highest program expense but due to low registration, our originally scheduled home tournament was first postponed and ultimately cancelled. To ensure participating teams still had an opportunity to compete, we collaborated with a neighboring town hosting a tournament the same weekend. We transferred all registered teams to their event and agreed to contribute toward their facility and referee expenses. Our organization retained the registration fees already collected. This program service activity typically incurs expenses of approximately $15,000 annually.
