Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance

This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. One of the significant annual events we sponsor is the Super Bowl Pizza party for up to 500 inmates out of a possible 1500 in maximum security. This event uplifts morale within the prison providing an opportunity to introduce them to our educational classes on faith addiction parenting mental health re-entry and more. These classes equip them with crucial life skills to enhance their daily interactions contributing to a safer environment for both inmates and staff. By guiding these individuals towards positive programs we aim to reduce recidivism rates and support their transition to becoming valuable members of society. The funds generated from this event are vital for acquiring resources such as books DVDs music equipment and other tools that enhance the effectiveness of all our programs. As part of our expansion in 2025 we have introduced a sign language class taught by one of our inmates broadening the range of educational opportunities available. Additionally we collaborate with organizations like the Jaycees Veteran group Reaching Out From Within ROFW and other community groups offering them access to our facilities to further their impactful work.
  2. Summer BBQ and concert for our inmates and staff at the El Dorado Correctional Facility EDCF and the Oswego Correctional Facilty OCF. We reach 600 to 700 inmates 200 Staff and up to 100 Outside Volunteers. This is a three hourevent that is funded by the Restoration Foundation. This event gives staff volunteers and inmates time to engage one on one with each other to promote respect between Security Staff and inmates highlight Restoration Foundation programming Correctional. programming and to relax and enjoy food concerts and fellowship. This event brings new inmates into the Spiritual Life Center SLC also known as the Refuge. That name was given due to the fact as you entered the doors prison life andmentality would be left outside enabling the inmates to drop their masks and participate in a positive safe environment. Even though all our programs are focused on specific topics I believe that the interaction between outside volunteers. and the inmates plays a big role in transformming their lives. On the first and third Mondays of the months a program known as M2 pairs mentor and inmate to visit and dicuss present and future plans whether he has a release date or not, personal challenges and anything else needed in his journey of change. M2 starts with the inmates requesting and filling out an application which includes hobbies so we can try to match with the right person. This is open to all GP inmates.
  3. Our Christmas Gift Box is for every inmate in EDCF and OCF. The box contains hygene items candy chocolate beef summer sausage fruit books etc. and is valued at around $25 a box. This is the time of year where we reicieve our most donations. Churchs indiviuals volunteers etc Denominations different faiths and people who may not interact normally come together to make this project a success every year. products that are put into the boxes. The products are then stored in the SLC until the third Saturday of December when volunteers and staff pack the gift boxes and then personally deliver them to every inmate in their cells where positive interaction is made between the inmate and volunteer.
