Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $11,527 spent. EXPANSION AND COST-SHARING GROWTH WITH NORTHEAST FLORIDA BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS:ONE OF OUR MOST SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 2025 WAS THE CONTINUED EXPANSION AND DEEPENING IMPACT OF OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF NORTHEAST FLORIDA. WHEN ACTIVE DISCOVERY FIRST BEGAN WORKING WITH THIS REGION, THERE WERE 35 CLUB SITES. THAT NUMBER HAS NOW GROWN TO 60 CLUBS, WITH PLANS TO ADD MORE THAN 10 ADDITIONAL LOCATIONS IN THE COMING YEAR.EQUALLY IMPORTANT IS THE SHIFT TOWARD SUSTAINABILITY. PREVIOUSLY, ALL PROGRAMMING WAS FULLY SUBSIDIZED. IN 2025, THESE CLUBS BEGAN CONTRIBUTING 10% OF PROGRAM COSTS, SIGNALING STRONG PROGRAM VALUE AND SETTING THE STAGE FOR INCREASED FINANCIAL PARTICIPATION OVER TIME. THE REGION CURRENTLY DISTRIBUTES APPROXIMATELY 200 KITS, THREE TIMES PER YEAR, AND HAS EXPRESSED A DESIRE TO SCALE USAGE UP TO FIVE TIMES THAT AMOUNT.
  2. $23,053 spent. LAUNCH OF NEW PROGRAM PARTNERSHIP IN CHICAGO WITH SCALABLE GROWTH POTENTIAL:IN 2025, ACTIVE DISCOVERY SUCCESSFULLY LAUNCHED A NEW PILOT PROGRAM IN CHICAGO IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE BIG SHOULDERS FUND, AN ORGANIZATION THAT SUPPORTS MORE THAN 100 TITLE I SCHOOLS SERVING UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES IN THE CHICAGO AREA.THE PROGRAM BEGAN WITH IMPLEMENTATION IN ONE PARTNER SCHOOL, UTILIZING ACTIVE DISCOVERY KITS AND GAMES ACROSS BOTH CLASSROOM AND AFTERSCHOOL SETTINGS. EARLY ADOPTION HAS DEMONSTRATED STRONG ALIGNMENT WITH THE SCHOOL'S GOALS OF INCREASING STUDENT ENGAGEMENT, PHYSICAL ACTIVITY, ANDSOCIAL-EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT.BASED ON THIS INITIAL SUCCESS, BIG SHOULDERS FUND HAS EXPRESSED STRONG INTEREST IN EXPANDING ACTIVE DISCOVERY PROGRAMMING INTO ADDITIONAL SCHOOLS WITHIN ITS NETWORK.
  3. $138,319 spent. INDIVIDUAL AND COMMUNITY-LEVEL OUTCOMES DEMONSTRATING LASTING IMPACT:ACTIVE DISCOVERY PROGRAMMING CONTINUES TO CREATE MEANINGFUL, MEASURABLE OUTCOMES FOR YOUTH PARTICIPANTS.A PREVIOUSLY SHY 4TH-GRADE STUDENT IN JACKSONVILLE DISCOVERED CONFIDENCE AND BELONGING THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN A KIT ACTIVITY INVOLVING DRUMSTICKS. THIS EXPERIENCE SPARKED A LASTING INTEREST INMUSIC, AND THE STUDENT IS NOW PARTICIPATING IN HIS MIDDLE SCHOOL BAND.IN ANOTHER EXAMPLE, STUDENTS USED MATERIALS FROM THE GO & GROW KIT TO DESIGN AND PRESENT A GARDEN PROPOSAL TO THEIR SCHOOL PRINCIPAL. THIS PROJECT EXTENDED BEYOND THE ACTIVITY ITSELF, FOSTERING LEADERSHIP, COLLABORATION, AND REAL-WORLD APPLICATION OF SKILLS WITHIN THEIR SCHOOL COMMUNITY.
