Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $198,260 spent. IMIZ engaged in its annual food basket program to provide food staples (i.e., rice, sugar, tea etc.) to families in need, as a humanitarian project to meet basic human needs. Generally licensed under 31 C.F.R. 542.516 of the Syrian Sanctions Regulations SSR. The food was procured from local vendors in Syria and the baskets were assembled by a local charitable organization in Syria for distribution to families in need.
  2. $35,000 spent. IMIZ engaged in a project to procure a medical equipment and donate that medical device to be used in an urgent care clinic in an underserved area of Damascus, Syria. IMIZ conducted this activity pursuant to the SSR General License in 542.516 authorizing services related to humanitarian projects to meet basic human needs in Syria, including the provision of health services. This donation allowed the local clinic to perform blood work and analysis of patients in order to diagnose and assist in the treatment and management of medical conditions. The device was procured from a non-US company and was not subject to the Export Administration Regulations.
  3. $500 spent. In 2025, IMIZ donated $500 to a local charitable organization in Milwaukee, L.O.A.F. Inc., to be used to purchase backpacks and school supplies for children in need.
