  1. $16,154 spent. Dolly's Dream Home's largest program provided comprehensive care, rehabilitation, and adoption services for rabbits in 2024. The program's total expenditures of $201,702 supported all aspects of the rescue, including an extensive special needs program and a mandatory education course for all adopters. TOTAL EXPENSES INCLUDE $87694 FOR VET CARE AND $44746 FOR SUPPLIES AND MATERIALS EDUCATION AND OUTREACH- DOLLY'S DREAM HOME education team provides free virtual courses several times a week to fosters and adopters worldwide. Special Needs Program- Dolly's Dream Home is known for taking in severely special-needs rabbits, not discriminating by breed, age, or ability. We exhaust all options to provide the best quality of life, including physical therapy, custom wheelchairs, and other specialized care, before considering peaceful euthanasia. OUR DEFINITION OF SPECIAL NEEDS INCLUDES MORE SEVER CASES LIKE BROKEN SPINES, NEUROLOGICAL DAMAGE, LIVER LOBE TORSION, DENTAL DISEASE, UTERINE TUMORS, ETC. mOST PLACES WOULD CONSIDER ISSUES LIKE PASTURELLA AND COCCIDIA TO BE SPECIAL NEEDS, BUT WE DO NOT, UNLESS COCCIDIA BECOMES HEPATIC. No-Euthanasia Policy: Our organization does not euthanize for space or aggression. Bunnies are welcome to stay in our fully trained foster homes for as long as needed and are treated as family. This policy, known as the Dolly's Difference, is a core tenet of our mission.
