Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (2)
  1. $143,000 spent. In 2025 Tulong Healthy Communities Corp. through its THCC Housing program expanded its efforts in providing safe structured and recovery-oriented sober living environments in Stockton California. During the year the organization served over 32 individuals offering stable housing combined with peer support accountability and access to recovery resources that promote long-term sobriety and self-sufficiency. The organization strengthened partnerships with county and state agencies supporting individuals transitioning from residential treatment programs into stable community-based housing. This continuity of care helped reduce gaps in recovery lowering the risk of relapse and homelessness. Many residents successfully maintained sobriety and progressed toward independent living while those who experienced relapse were referred back to treatment and supported in re-engaging with recovery services. To meet increasing demand THCC Housing expanded its capacity by opening an additional sober living facility in Stockton with the ability to serve up to 13 residents. This new location was established as a co-ed facility allowing the organization to extend services to women and broaden access to supportive recovery housing. Through these efforts THCC Housing continued to improve community health outcomes by reducing homelessness supporting sustained recovery and providing individuals with a stable foundation to rebuild their lives.
  2. $2,363 spent. In 2025 Tulong Healthy Communities Corp. launched the Sober Charities initiative to expand community engagement and improve access to recovery housing resources. This program was established to build a collaborative network of sober living operators and community partners with the goal of increasing awareness of recovery housing services and strengthening referral pathways for individuals in need. During its initial development phase the organization created foundational infrastructure for the program including the development of an online platform to provide information resources and outreach to the community. Sober Charities began efforts to engage local stakeholders and lay the groundwork for a coalition focused on supporting individuals in recovery. The long-term objective of the program is to develop funding mechanisms and partnerships that will provide financial assistance to individuals who lack the means to access sober living housing. While program activity in 2025 was primarily focused on development and outreach this initiative establishes a framework for future expansion of services and community impact.
