Programs described in its return (1)
- $62,925 spent. Monthly grant for a monthly payment for the re-wilding of the Mthimkhulu wildlife reserve in South Africa- the land is being re-wilded: brought back to its native ecology to encourage the natural flora and fauna ecosystem to re-populate and thrive. The nonprofit organization is working with a local tribe on the land to not only bring the land back to a healthy ecosystem, but also to improve community resources. So far, a medical clinic and community center serving hundreds of community members has been built. The fence surrounding this reserve for protection has been repaired and replaced along its outside borders, and the fence on the border with Kruger National Park has been removed, as originally intended for the flow of wildlife.
