Financial health

We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Impact evidence

Describes programs. Its tax return describes what it does but we have found no measurable results in it.

Programs described in its return (3)
  1. $9,000 spent. Adoption Helpers held 4 community respite events in which foster, adoptive, and kinship families could drop off their children in order to have 3-4 hours to themselves. These events require detailed planning in order to provide a safe and fun environment for these children.
  2. $319 spent. Adoption Helpers provides 4 hours of free childcare to foster, adoptive, and kinship families by utilizing trauma informed volunteers. During these in-home respite visits, Adoption Helpers provides a meal and brings in new games or activities for the children. By providing a meal, the parents/caregivers can truly step away with very little planning. The new games or activities assist in the transition of parents/caregivers leaving and connection with volunteers.
  3. $4,728 spent. Adoption Helpers also assists with financial needs of these foster, adoptive, and kinship families. In 2023, Adoption Helpers was able to pay all legal expenses for a kinship family to adopt their great-grandson.
