Financial health
We do not score finances when yearly spending is very small or the return has too little detail. The ratios stop meaning much at that size.

Governance
This organization files the short tax form, which does not ask about boards, policies or audits. That is normal for a small charity and is not a mark against it.

Programs described in its return (5)
- $68,800 spent. In Colombia Vertice works to link small farmers to end consumers in shortened market circuits of high-quality food that is locally-produced fairly paid to producers and ecologically sustainable. This linking consists in a cafe and a commercial-grade kitchen that is open to local producers. In 2025 the cafe strengthened its team and incurred more costs to comply with new Colombian labor law.
- $53,500 spent. Vertice was forced to wind down its activities in Guinea due to administrative challenges Guinean government unable to manage NGO registrations and logistical challenges the neighborhood where most of our beneficiaries lived was torn down by the local and national government in collusion with corrupt businesspeople. This winding down implied large costs to provide proper severance to longtime employees. We also invested resources to rehab a new physical structure that can serve as our base of operations if we are able to resume.
- $21,013 spent. We made a sub-grant to CASUMZ agroecological training center in Macenta Guinea to implement training and intercultural understanding grant. We finished up this activity in 2025 training 10 young people to start their own agroecological enterprises that will promote interethnic and interreligious understanding.
- $1,600 spent. Scholarships to enable one young mother from Honduras and one young man from Guinea to pursue higher education
