WE TRAIN NEW AND EXPERIENCED DOULAS TO SERVE THEIR RESPECTIVE COMMUNITIES, TO ADVOCATE, AND TO BE EQUIPPED WITH THE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, RESOURCES, AND NETWORK TO PROVIDE TRAUMA INFORMED SUPPORT TO THEIR CLIENTS. DOULAS ARE WELL DOCUMENTED TO BE AN ASSET TO DECREASING THE PERINATAL AND INFANT HEALTH DISPARITIES FOR COMMUNITIES OF COLOR AND WE ARE DEDICATED TO INCREASING THE NUMBER OF DOULAS IN EVERY NEIGHBORHOOD!

WE BELIEVE DOULAS SHOULD BE COMPENSATED FOR THEIR LABOR AND THAT THIS WORK SHOULD CREATE SUSTAINABILITY FOR DOULAS WHILE STILL BEING ACCESSIBLE TO THOSE WHO HAVE NEED BUT CAN'T AFFORD IT. WE OFFER THESE SERVICES THROUGH VARIOUS MEANS INCLUDING OUT OF POCKET, SLIDING SCALE, GRANT FUNDED SERVICES, MEDI-CAL/MEDI-CAID, AND CLINICS/PARTNERSHIPS/HOSPITALS/INSTITUTIONS/JAILS.
